At a young age, Gerald would borrow his mother's 35mm film camera to capture candid family moments.  Originally born and raised in Hawaii, there was no shortage of beautiful places and faces for Gerald to photograph.  Eventually, the camera became an extension of his body.  In 2006, Gerald made the leap to California where he learned to focus his image-making techniques.  At the heart of his craft, Gerald is continually inspired to use his photography to make connections with the people and the world around him.
